What I Do for Developers:

Typical Projects

I partner with developers and property owners on a wide range of residential and commercial infill projects, including:

• Duplex, triplex, fourplex, and small apartment buildings
• ADU networks and multi-unit site strategies
• Townhome and attached housing projects
• Garage conversions that add rentable units
• Mixed-use storefront + residential
• Small commercial pads and TI-ready buildings
• Redevelopment of older homes into multiple units
• Code enforcement recovery plans for properties with unpermitted work
• Zoning compliance and feasibility studies for property acquisitions

we help developers evaluate sites, understand zoning and code requirements, and design permit-ready projects that are feasible, buildable, and aligned with jurisdictional standards.

Whether it’s a multi-family infill project, an ADU strategy, a duplex/triplex conversion, or a small commercial development, we provide clarity early — then move efficiently into design, permitting, and construction coordination.

DEVELOPER WORKFLOW

1. Feasibility & Zoning Review
I evaluate the site, zoning, overlays, allowable density, parking, and development limits. You get clarity early — before spending money on drawings.

2. Concept Design
I prepare building concepts and unit layouts, refine massing and height, and ensure compliance with zoning and building codes.

3. Engineering & Permit Drawings
I coordinate with structural and civil (other trades too) compiling and verifying work with architectural input. Then produce a complete, code-compliant permit set ready for submission (Planning or Building permits typically).

4. Permit Coordination
I help you prepare for planning review, building permit intake, and respond to comments.

5. Construction Support
I assist your GC with design clarification, adjust drawings as needed, and support smooth progress through construction.

Where I Work

I work with developers throughout:
• Oregon
• Washington

With more than a decade of experience in residential and commercial development, I understand zoning, land use, building codes, and permit pathways across multiple jurisdictions.

I focus on delivering clear documentation, realistic designs, and efficient permit approvals to keep projects moving..

I am a member of AIA and NCARB and have reciprocity to practice residential architecture all across the US.
